This week the PSU ruggers took a tough defeat against Salve Regina in Newport. Going into the game the team was 3-0 leading the north division of the conference. With the teams that Plymouth has played not being the strongest teams, playing the defending conference champions would be the first real test for the Norseman. The game was definitely an eye opener for Plymouth losing 46-10. The game showed their weaknesses and showed what they need to work on for when they play the better, and more skilled teams. The team beat themselves more than salve beating Plymouth, with countless penalties, dropped balls and poor defense allowing for big plays. Truly a learning experience for the team, as to what needs to be addressed for the next time they play Salve. The game against Salve was a non-divisional game but is a potential playoff preview.
