This past Saturday 9-20-2014, the Plymouth State Norseman stepped out on to the pitch to face off against UMass Dartmouth. With the team being in a new conference this year, and a great 55-10 victory over Endicott college last week, the Norseman needed to prove that last week’s win was not a fluke. This week the team has definitely made their mark in the new conference defeating UMass 31-0. It was a well-played match by both teams, even with the referee being somewhat bias, being that he was also the coach for the opposing team. At times it seemed like the Norseman fifteen were playing against sixteen, but we still ended up on top. Second year starter Dan Horelik and rookie Ari Corradi both scored their first A side try making it an exciting game. The Team is now 2-0 and looking strong in the north division. The teams next home game is Saturday September 27th at one o’clock, at the rugby field behind the ice arena. Come support your PSU Norseman ruggers!
